I have to admit, it was not as nice as I thought it would be. Maybe I expected too much, but why wouldn't I, when the cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart (she's my favorite teen-movie/romantic-comedy actress, by the way), Chris Klein (him, I don't really like, though) and Anna Faris? Maybe it was because it was too slapstick for my taste, but at least it wasn't as bad as Say It Isn't So.
Good points though was that Anna Faris and Ryan Reynolds were hilarious. The part where Chris (Ryan Reynolds) was in the porsche, going crazy (because he just gave Jamie (Amy Smart) a 'body shake' and not a kiss), well, he reminded me so much of Jim Carrey's "over-acting" style, which, I guess isn't a bad thing if you think about how good of an actor Jim Carrey is now (at least in my opinion). So I'm expecting Ryan Reynold's movies to get better and better (like Jim Carrey's).
Amy Smart was pretty, as usual, although her character was a little confusing. When did she make the transition from liking Chris as a friend/brother to liking him as a boyfriend? It just was not clear.
Oh, but at least they were all funny and some bits of the dialogue about the difference between friendship and other relationships did make sense.
More comedy than romance, but surprisingly not sucky like the others like it (i.e. Say It Isn't So, There's Something About Mary, etc.). I recommend you to watch it if you're bored and would like to laugh, a lot.
