The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

So I forced everyone I was with to watch this movie instead of all the others that were probably more interesting. Whatever. I only get to see movies on weekends now, so they're just going to have to deal. Anyway, I don't think it was too much torture to them, or any of the other audience members for that matter.
It was okay. I haven't read the book so I wouldn't know if the film gave it justice or not, but on it's own, as a film, it was pretty good, at least for it's genre. Especially the part with Bridgette, because I honestly don't know how they could've written her better. The on-screen character was really powerful.
The story I liked best was the one of Tibby, and not for the same reason my sister likes it, but because although it was fairly predictable, it was the one that was sad, but not too dramatic, and had the most number of new and interesting stuff to learn from. I completely hated the Carmen character, mostly because she thinks too highly of herself and is kinda over dramatic. The one about Lena was pretty cool, being set in Greece and all, but the whole Romeo-and-Juliet thing is waaayy overused, and wasn't even cute because they guy was not at all good-looking.
I predicted 3 lines of dialogue in this movie, and knew it would end the way it did. Talk about nothing new. But oh well, at least it didn't suck.
